Shorade win Bodyshop Innovation Award #be2013
Shorade were delighted to attend the Bodyshop Awards 2013 and received the exclusive “Innovation Award” at the ceremony held at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on Friday.
The day kicked off with a breakfast reception where everyone in the Bodyshop Industry took the opportunity to connect; Shorade enjoyed meeting with many of our business affiliates and Manufacturers such as Porsche, Nissan, the Nibs Group, Audatex and Bodyshop event organiser; the Bodyshop Magazine. Shorade also enjoyed spending the day catching up with fellow Bodyshops and friends within our Industry. Throughout the day Shorade attended seminars from an amalgamation of Industry mentors/ influencers and independent bodies such as the London Academy Business School and the University of Bedfordshire.
The black-tie evening event began with a Champaign reception & canapés followed by a three course meal and Bodyshop Awards Ceremony #be2013.
Shorade were very proud to be the first Bodyshop in the history of the Bodyshop Awards to win the exclusive “Innovation Award” which was awarded by Bodyshop Editor Mark Hadaway and evening host Comedian, Dom Jolly.
To be selected for the Innovation Award the criteria states that the Bodyshop or service requires individuality, to be unique and illustrate a revolutionary approach to business, showing innovative traits which the Industry should inspire to work towards.
The team were completely surprised as Dom Jolly announced the introduction of the Innovation Award talking about Shorade’s new state of the art Aluminium/ Carbon Fibre workshop and Customer Experience Facility before announcing that the team had been awarded for Shorade’s Innovation. The team at Shorade were also delighted to be selected as finalists for the annual award of medium Bodyshop of the year.
The team at Shorade would like to thank all Industry bodies, businesses and judging committees who nominated and selected Shorade for the awards. We have displayed the award in Shorade’s award cabinet which is located in the centre of Shorade’s Customer Experience Centre for all our customers and visitors to see.
